Gift Aid

Gift Aid allows the charity to claim 28% tax relief from the Inland Revenue on top of your donation. This means that a £100 donation will in fact be worth £128 to your chosen charity.

To qualify you need to pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax equal to the tax that the charity will reclaim on your donation.
